Jai Gangaajal: The Maya Thagni Track is So Rustic That it will leave You Spellbound
It is no secret that Prakash Jha’s latest directorial venture Jai Gangaajal has already created quite a buzz amongst movie buffs courtesy its powerful trailer. Moreover, the movie has also grabbed eyeballs as it features the ever dependable Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
And now it seems that the buzz surrounding this action-drama is all set to receive a shot in the arm. In an exciting development, the latest video song from Jai Gangaajal has been released. Titled Maya Thagni, the number has been composed by the celebrated duo of Salim-Sulaiman. The video features quite a few gripping fight scenes and confrontations. Moreover, the visuals are complemented quite beautifully by Pravesh Mallick’s rustic and raw vocals.
For the uninitiated, Jai Gangaajal features PC in the role of a fearless police officer. Besides her, it also features Prakash Jha, Murali Sharma and Manav Kaul in the lead. A sequel to the 2003 release Gangaajal—which starred Ajay Devgn-- it is slated to hit screens this March.
