When Neerja's Mother Said Her 'Laado' Was Prettier Than Sonam
As we all know, Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film Neerja is based on real-life events and highlights how a brave flight attendant Neerja Bhanot was killed while trying to save passengers from terrorists. As the Khoobsurat star plays a real person in the film, she did a lot of research to get her act spot on.
As part of her preparations, Sonam went and met Neerja’s family. Interestingly, something very cute took place during the meeting. On seeing sonam, Neerja’s mother said she reminded her of her Laado( dear). However, she soon added on a lighter note that her daughter was prettier than her.
In a recently released video, Sonam recalled the incident and said that is put a lot of pressure on her to do justice to her role. Moreover, the 30-year-old also hoped that she was able to live up to their expectations. For the uninitiated, Neeja has been directed by Ram Madhavani and will hit screens this Friday.
