Manoj Bajpayee is undoubtedly one of Bollywood’s most underrated yet talented performers. The actor has every now and then given proof of his tremendous range and versatility as an artiste. Moreover, the 46-year-old has also never been afraid of experimenting with his on screen image.
And now, in an interesting development, he has added another feather to his cap. As it so happens, his eagerly awaited short film Taandav has finally been released. Directed by Devashish Makhija, it features him in the role of a policeman who is going through an absolutely terrible phase in personal and professional life. Needless to say, the Tevar actor has done his role with utmost sincerity and effortless ease. Moreover, the film too comes across as quite compelling because of its compelling narrative and quirky presentation
On a related note this year, Manoj will also be seen in Aligarh. In it, he essays the role of a professor who faces discrimination because of his sexual orientation. Directed by Hansal Mehta, it has already won laurels at film festivals.
