She Has a Mind of Her Own: Tanuja Talks About Kajol Taking Up Direction
Tanuja, mom of actresses Kajol and Tanisha, spoke at the launch of Honey Trehan and movie producer Abhishek Chaubey's production company MacGuffin Pictures, which is backing Konkana Sen Sharma's movie A Death in the Gunj. The actress, who is featuring in the movie, was asked if daughter Kajol has plans to take up direction.
Tanuja said, "My children have a mind of their own and I am sure you all know Kajol has a mind of her own. So if she decides to take up direction, she will I guess. I don't have any say in that."
Tanuja also spoke about her director Konkana. She said, "I think she is a brilliant actress and I know she is going to make a brilliant film. I have been in this industry for a long time and I have heard a lot of scripts. She is the only director who narrated the script to me and I have closed my eyes and been able to visualise the entire film. God bless her."
