‘Shaandaar’ is based against the backdrop of a Shaandaar wedding. It is a story of Alia (Alia Bhatt), Jagjinder Joginder (Shahid Kapoor) and Bipin - Alia’s father (Pankaj Kapur). Bipin believes there’s no one who will be good enough for his daughter Alia, who is a dreamer and she dreams extra-ordinary things. Will Jagjinder Joginder, the wedding planner find the perfect damad for Bipin? We must say, going by the trailer, Shahid and his father, Pankaj Kapur share a crackling chemistry here.
Produced by Karan Johar and The Phantoms, ‘Shaandaar’ is set for a Dussehra release on October 22.
