2018 Hockey World Cup Opening Ceremony: Shah Rukh Khan reenacts iconic 70 minute dialogue from Chak De India
Shah Rukh Khan, who was a part of the 2018 Hockey World Cup Opening Ceremony was seen re-enacting the iconic Sattar Minute dialogue from his film Chak De! India.
Shah Rukh Khan was in Bhubaneswar in Odisha where Hockey World Cup 2018's Opening Ceremony was held. The superstar was elated to be a part of the prestigious event and looked dapper in a baby blue shirt and dark blue trousers with a black two-piece suit and an aqua blue tie. During the ceremony, SRK remembered the time when he used to play hockey during his younger days. He said, "I did play a little bit of hockey in school and college. I used to play as a centre-forward, and right opposite me was obviously a goalkeeper"
We got our hands on a video, where Shah Rukh is seen mouthing his one of the famous dialogues from his 2007 blockbuster, Chak De! India. In the film, SRK played the role of Kabir Khan, coach to Indian Women's hockey team. SRK, at the ceremony, said the iconic 'Sattar Minute' dialogue and it was indeed a proud moment for everyone. After the event, SRK took to his Twitter page and posted a picture of himself from the ceremony holding a hockey stick. He tweeted, "Thank u Odisha for all the excitement, love & the grand beginning to the World Cup Hockey. @naveen_odisha it was lovely to meet u sir. To all the players have a great tournament....& yes..Chak De India!"
Meanwhile, on the work front, King Khan will next be seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero which is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
