THROWBACK: When BTS looked back at their memorable career wins; From their debut to their 1st award
We are looking back at March 2020 when BTS was seen recalling all the monumental wins in their career.
Back in March 2020, BTS took a nostalgic walk down memory lane through a special video released for Mnet network’s 25th anniversary. In the video, the South Korean band BTS is seen taking a look back at some of the most monumental moments of their career, including their debut, the first award received, and more. Given that their career has seen such an uphill rise, it is only understood that the monumental moments would be abundant.
In the video, Suga starts by looking back at the excitement of their debut on Mnet’s “M Countdown,” saying that it was a moment that the group will never forget. The thrill, the nervous excitement, the overwhelming emotion that came with making their debut was unforgettable according to the idol.
The members then move on to talk about their fist emotional music show win, which took place in 2015, when they won for their hit I Need U. While recalling the win that brought them to tears, Jimin remarked that he initially couldn’t believe that the group had won in the first place! He then added that he didn’t even realise that he was crying, or how he started crying, but he only remembered that he couldn’t stop the tears from flowing.
In the video, the idols also named a few KCON performances and Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) moments that were especially meaningful or that particularly stood out in their memories, intercut with footage of those moments.
