Sushmita Sen announces Aarya 2 as she begins shooting for the series in Rajasthan; See PHOTO

Sushmita Sen’s fans were super excited when she announced her comeback last year with Aarya. The web series also marked her digital debut as she joined other celebs on this bandwagon. The actress received accolades owing to her stint in the crime thriller in which she played the titular role. There were reports about the makers planning a sequel for the same and even the former Miss Universe had admitted to it during one of her social media sessions.

Now, the good news here is that Aarya 2 has already gone on floors! Yes, you heard it right. Sushmita herself has announced the same on her official handle. She has already begun shooting for the series and shared a BTS picture along with the post. The actress is seen wearing a black sleeveless top and matching joggers with two bouncers standing beside her. One can also see a palace-like building in the backdrop. For the unversed, she is shooting for the same in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Apart from Sushmita Sen, Aarya also featured Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das, Sikander Kher, Ankur Bhatia, Manish Choudhary, Sugandha Garg, and others in the lead roles. The crime drama has been created by Ram Madhvani and is based on the Dutch series titled Penoza. The shooting for the same happened in Jaipur, Palgadh, Udaipur, and Mumbai. While the audience loved the gripping storyline in the first installment, one is yet to see what further unfolds in its upcoming sequence!
