Wild Dog: Nagarjuna packs a punch as NIA agent; Chiranjeevi unveils teaser, Samantha Akkineni is all praises

The makers of Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna’s most-awaited action thriller, Wild Dog, have now released the teaser of the film. Megastar Chiranjeevi unveiled the teaser on his Twitter space. He captioned it, “Presenting #WildDogTrailer FEROCIOUS,PATRIOTIC TALE OF A DAREDEVIL TEAM My brother Nag is Cool & Energetic as ever He is a fearless actor attempting all genres Wish Team #WildDog & my Producer Niranjan Reddy Good Luck!” The Tollywood film has been slated for a theatrical release on April 2.

Directed by Ahishor Solomon, the film is inspired by real-life incidents. Wild Dog also marks the debut collaboration between Nagarjuna and Ahishor. Although it was widely speculated that the movie might have an OTT-release, the makers had earlier announced that the film will be released in the big screens, which came as a huge surprise to the fans. Nagarjuna will be seen playing the role of Vijay Varma, a ruthless National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the movie.

Apart from Nagarjuna, the film also features actor Saiyami Kher Dia Mirza, Atul Kulkarni, and Ali Reza in pivotal characters. Bankrolled by Matinee Entertainment, Kiran Kumar has written the dialogues for Wild Dog, while Shaneil Deo has cranked the camera. David Ismalone of Fast & Furious 7, A Man Will Rise and Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior fame has choreographed the stunt sequences for Wild Dog. Sharing the teaser, Samantha Akkineni wrote “his is what we’ve been waiting for #Wilddog .. Action packed”.
