WATCH: Ram Charan dedicates his award to late fan Noor Mohammad
Ram Charan dedicated his recently received award to his late fan Noor Mohammad. The Telugu star won 'The People’s Entertainer Par Excellence Award' at an event in Chennai.
Noor Mohammad, Chiranjeevi and Mega family's huge fan passed away on December 8th. He is also the President of Greater Hyderabad Mega Fans Association. Many celebrities from the film industry took to social media and mourned the death of a huge fan. While Allu Arjun promised to give financial support to Noor's family, Megastar Chiranjeevi visited Noor’s wife, who wept inconsolably. On the other hand, Ram Charan dedicated his recently received award to Noor. The Telugu star won 'The People’s Entertainer Par Excellence award' at an event in Chennai.
As Ram Charan walked up to the stage, he was emotional as he decided to dedicate the award to Noor. During his award acceptance speech, Ram Charan said, "We are all so existing and so energetic because of our fans. Noor, he is a great person and has inspired me and my father since last 12 years, since I became an actor. Noor Mohammad, one of the oldest oldest fan passed away today and I feel he gave me this award. The fans are there in all of us. I dedicate this to him, we love you sir, we miss you."
Addressing Noor as a family member, Ram Charan wrote on Facebook, "Fans are family. Noor ji was always full of positivity and was known for his helping nature. He inspired the young generation.”
Sai Dharam Tej was among other South celebrities who mourned the death of Noor. He wrote, “One of the strongest pillars of #megafans family has fallen...my deepest condolences and prayers to him and my support, strength to the family members #RIPNoorBhai.”
