R Parthiepan launched his upcoming project, Otha Serupu and fans have been going crazy to know more about the film. The film is the talk of the town as it has only one actor as a part of its cast. R Parthiepan has not only acted but has also written, directed and produced the film. Well, superstar Rajinikanth is all praise for Parthiepan for coming in a unique way. One can see in the video, the Petta star also recalls Sunil Dutt's 1964 film Yaadein, which was the first Indian film having only one actor.
R Parthiepan's Otha Serupu becomes one such first film of the Southern Industry for having only one actor as its cast. Rajinikanth is all praise for Parthiepan as it is the first ever attempt made by someone. He also added that how Otha Serupu will have everything needed to make it a huge one despite being a small-budget film. Makkal Neethi Maiam's head Kamal Haasan has launched the project along with director Shankar today. The film is making the right noise since it is being talked by Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
Sunil Dutt's 1964 film Yaadein was the first Indian film in the cinema that featured only a single actor and hence, found an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records in the category Fewest actors in a narrative film.
On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen in Darbar opposite Nayanthara. The shooting of the film kick-started in Mumbai and the makers are all set to begin with the second schedule soon. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film has Yogi Babu.
