The latest buzz is that director Prasanth Varma has finalized the script and is looking forward to get in touch with megastar Vijay Sethupathi for the sequel of the film Awe.
The film Awe directed by Prasanth Varma won two National Awards for Best Make-up and Best Visual Effects. This film has an impressive star cast. Actors like Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra played crucial roles in the film Awe. The latest buzz is that the director has finalized the script and is looking forward to get in touch with megastar Vijay Sethupathi for the sequel to Awe. In an interview with Indian Express, the director says that the film's script has been finalized and actresses like Kajal Aggarwal and Taapsee Pannu have shown a keen interest in the film.
The director further adds that it is a difficult job to rope in producers for a film like Awe 2 which have an unconventional subject and also a strong message to give to its audience. Prasanth Varma who directed films like Awe and Kalki said that he will get in touch with Vijay Sethupathi only after the production house has been brought on board for Awe 2. Prasanth Varma is also hoping to direct Awe 2 but is waiting for other elements of the film production to fall into place.
Prasanth Varma will also direct Akhil Akkineni after he completes his film with director Bommarillu Bhaskar. As per reports, Prasanth Varma's film with Akhil Akkineni is in its pre-production stage and the script has been finalized. The story of this film is based in the era of 1990s and the actor will be seen in a never seen before look in the Prasanth Varma directorial.
