Vijay Sethupathi has begun shooting for his upcoming film with director Buchi Babu Sana. The filmmaker has previously been an associate of director Sukumar. The film, Uppena will mark the director Buchi Babu Sana's debut into direction. Megastar Vijay Sethupathi will be essaying the role of the leading lady Krithi Shetty's father in Uppena. The film will feature actor Panja Vaisshnav Tej. This film marks the debut of actor Panja Vaisshnav Tej in acting. The makers of the film, Mythri Movie Makers shared a picture of superstar Vijay Sethupathi on Twitter confirming that the actor has begun the film's shoot.
The shooting of Uppena is currently underway at Sarathi Studios in Hyderabad. Actor Panja Vaisshnav Tej is superstar Chiranjeevi's nephew. As per reports the film has completed around 40 per cent of its shoot. The film, Uppena will finish its entire shoot by the month of October. If reports are to be believed then the film is expected to hit the theatres in the month of December. Megastar Vjiay Sethupathi will be seen making his debut in Telugu films with the period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring superstar Chiranjeevi.
The actor last featured in the film called Sindhubaadh. Vijay Sethupathi has many interesting films in his kitty. The actor will star in films like Sanga Tamizhan, Laabam, Tughlaq Darbar, Maamanidhan. The film, Marconi Mathai saw Vjiay Sethupathi's debut in Malayalam films. The fans are very excited and are looking forward to see superstar Vijay Sethupathi back on the big screen.
