Vijay Sethupathi confirms he has opted out of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha; Details Inside
Vijay Sethupathi was reportedly roped in to play the role of Aamir Khan's friend in the film.
The speculations about Vijay Sethupathi is a part of Aamir Khan's much-anticipated film, Laal Singh Chaddha have been doing rounds since a very long time. Recently, Master actor Sethupathi confirmed that he has quit Aamir Khan's film which is a Hindi remake of Hollywood flick, Forrest Gump. The Kollywood star was roped in to play the role of Aamir Khan's friend in the film. However, things didn't work out and Vijay decided to quit the film. Reports were doing rounds that 96 star had to back out due to his weight.
Rumours were doing rounds that the actor was supposed to be in a shape for the film but he failed to do so and this had left Aamir Khan miffed. Vijay Sethupathi has now slammed the reports stating weight was never an issue but he opted out of the movie due to other work commitments. Meanwhile, the makers are still in search of Vijay Sethupathi's replacement. Laal Singh Chaddha is helmed by director Advait Chandan. What do you think about the same? Meanwhile, after Master, Sethupathi has kickstarted shooting for Vignesh Shivan's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, co-starring Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara in the lead roles. He also has Tughlaq Darbar and Kadiasi Vivasayi to release soon.
The actor recently announced his next movie Gandhi Talks. Helmed by Kishor Pandurang 'Belekar', Gandhi Talks happens to be a silent movie and comes with a tagline of ‘Let’s celebrate the silent era once again’.
