Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan’s Laabam: Makers release romantic first single Yaazha Yaazha
Titled Yaazha Yaazha, the first single of Laabam is sung by Shruti Haasan, while Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics.
The makers of Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan’s upcoming film Laabam have released the first single Yaazha Yaazha, which is a romantic number. While D Iman has composed music for the most awaited Kollywood flick, Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics of Yaazha Yaazha. Shruti Haasan, who is the leading lady of Laabam has crooned her voice for the song. Yesterday the makers announced the song’s release. Ever since the announcement was made, fans have been Tweeting how excited they are.
Sharing the first single, Vijay Sethupathi wrote on his Twitter space, “#YaazhaYaazha the first single from #Laabam is here. A D Iman musical.” Directed by SP Jananathan, who also directed Vijay Sethupathi’s Purompokku Engira Podhuvadamai, Laabam has Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The film’s intense trailer was released on August 21 and it opened to a positive response from the fans. Vijay Sethupathi’s intriguing first look poster from the film was released last year, which took the social media by a storm.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi has a line up of films in his kitty including Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Kadaisi Vivasaayi, a yet to be titled film with Taapsee Pannu as the leading lady. He was last seen as the main antagonist in Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film had Malavika Mohanan and Andrea Jeremiah as the leading ladies. On the other hand, Shruti Haasan was last seen in Krack with Ravi Teja.
