Reportedly, it will be a 90-minute edge of the seat thriller and makers are set to commence the first schedule soon in Pune.
South star Vijay Sethupathi's Bollywood debut film with Katrina Kaif has been titled, Merry Christmas. This Sriram Raghavan’s directorial film has been the talk of the town since its inception as moviegoers can't wait to know what's in store for them. However, an official update on the film's title is awaited. Reportedly, it will be a 90-minute edge of the seat thriller and makers are set to commence the first schedule soon in Pune. As earlier we revealed exclusively, the film goes on the floors in Pune from April.
"It’s a high concept film, and be made on a controlled budget. Sriram has a close and rather emotional connect with Pune, and like Ek Hasina Thi, Johnny Gaddar, Badlapur and Andhadhun, even this one is based in Pune. The filmmaker is planning one marathon schedule in the city with his entire cast, including Katrina and Vijay,” the source recently revealed it to Pinkvilla.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi is eagerly looking forward to his Hindi debut. After ruling the South Indian cinema with award-winning performances in films like Master, Super Deluxe, fans are waiting to know what's next. Recently, the Kollywood star opened up about making a transition from South to Hindi cinema. He said, "there’s no language barrier in cinema and no language barrier in art." He also added saying the transition is happening on its own.
Vijay Sethupathi also has Gandhi Talks, being helmed by Kishor Pandurang. He will also be seen in Vignesh Shivan's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, co-starring Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni.
