Valimai UPDATES: Petrol bomb hurled at Ajith's fans outside cinema hall
According to media reports, at Ganga Cine Complex in Coimbatore, a petrol bomb was hurled outside the cinema hall by an unidentified assailant. A report in the New Indian Express states that no one was injured in the attack. The police is currently investigating the case and is in search of the culprit. The report also states the two unidentified men riding on a bike hurling bombs at the theatre premises.
Valimai is the first pan-Indian movie of Ajith Kumar. While the movie is receiving a mad response from audiences in the South, the Hindi shows have also begun screening. It is houseful in most theatres and the business is expected to grow better in the evening.
Set in Vizag (it's Chennai in the Tamil version), the story is about how far ACP Arjun (a formidable Ajith Kumar whose dignified performance is irresistible) can go to keep the city safe for the poor and middle-class.
