Uppena: Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty starrer witnesses phenomenal run at the box office
Uppena opened to a good response from the audience and critics alike and now it remains to see how well it earns in the second week of its release.
Newcomers Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty starrer Uppena released on February 12 and the film has set the box office on fire. Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty starrer got a positive start at the box office and it slowly picked up by the opening weekend. After Ravi Teja starrer Krack, Uppena has witnessed biggest opening for a Telugu film since the theatres reopened in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In 6 days of its release, the film has registered terrific numbers and is close to Rs 50 crore mark. Directed by Buchi Babu Sanu, Uppena also features Vijay Sethupathi in a pivotal role. His presence in the film has definitely helped to strike gold at the box-office.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Chiranjeevi's nephew Vaishnav Tej shared his experience of working with Vijay Sethupathi. He said, “While shooting with him, he gave me a lot of small tips and I really liked the way he works. If he is not satisfied with the shot, he won't go and check on the monitor but he will shoot is again in a different way. He is very kind and I feel lucky to spend time with him on sets."
