Uppena actress Krithi Shetty roped in to play the leading lady in Ram Pothineni’s next with Lingusamy
Directed by Lingusamy, the film marks Ram Pothineni's 19th Tollywood feature film and he is also making his debut in Kollywood in the yet to be titled bilingual flick.
Krithi Shetty has been receiving a tremendous positive response for her role in the recently released film Uppena. She shared the screen space with actor Vaisshnav Tej, while Vijay Sethupathi was seen as the main antagonist. While we are all waiting for the actress to make her next movie announcement, the makers of Ram Pothineni’s next film have revealed that they have roped in Krithi as the leading lady for the most awaited flick.
Taking to their Twitter space, the makers wrote, “Welcoming the Supremely talented @IamKrithiShetty on board for #RAPO19 Starring Ustaad @ramsayz A film by @dirlingusamy @SS_Screens #SrinivasaaChitturi”. Well, this has come as an exciting news to the fans of Ram, as Krithi’s acting skill is being lauded by fans and critics alike. It is expected that the makers will announce more updates about the film’s shooting schedule in the upcoming days.

This yet to be titled flick will mark Ram Pothineni's 19th film. The actor’s previous two films namely iSmart Shankar and Red turned out to be a hit at the box office. On February 18, Ram Pothineni took to his Twitter space and announced his collaboration with director Lingusamy. With this untitled film, Ram Pothineni will make his Kollywood debut. Ram Pothineni wrote on his Twitter space, "I’ve waited a long time for this! #RAPO19 - a Telugu-Tamil Bi-lingual with one of my fav @dirlingusamy sir.
