Thalaivi: Kangana Ranaut hones her Bharatanatyam skills as she gears up to step into J Jayalalithaa’s shoes
Kangana Ranaut is one of the most hardworking and talented stars in Bollywood. This morning, Kangana was seen honing her Bharatanatyam skills for J Jayalalithaa’s biopic, Thalaivi. Check out the photos.
A biopic that has been in the news since it was announced is the one based on the life of political stalwart and former actress, J Jayalalithaa. Kangana Ranaut will be headlining the biopic as the actress-turned-politician and the film was announced a while back. It will be made in multiple languages and for the same, Kangana has been working extremely hard on her language skills as well as on her classical dancing skills. For a song in the film, Kangana will be seen performing Bharatanatyam.
For the same, the Manikarnika star has been sweating it out and is often snapped post her Bharatanatyam classes. However, this morning, Kangana was snapped while practising with her Bharatanatyam teacher. The gorgeous star can be seen slowly and steadily nailing the mudras of Bharatanatyam to ace the role of the prolific woman and leader. In the photos, Kangana is seen dressed in a blue floral Anarkali with a palazzo. As she nails her moves, the Manikarnika star can be seen smiling and working hard.
As per reports, J Jayalalithaa biopic will have a song which will shot on a massive scale and Kangana will be seen performing Bharatanatyam on the same. With over 100 background dancers, the song will showcase her classical dancing skills. A while back, Kangana also travelled to the US for the look test of Thalaivi and photos from the same were shared by her team on social media. The talented star is putting her best foot forward to nail the role of the late political stalwart and former actress. As per recent reports, Arvind Swami has been roped in to play the role of MGR in Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi. It will be directed by AL Vijay.
