Thala Ajith to portray the role of a cop in Valimai? Find Out
It has been revealed that actor Ajith will be seen as cop in his next film, Valimai.
In what comes as an exciting news for the fans of Thala Ajith, it has been revealed recently that the star will be seen as a cop in his upcoming film tentatively titled Thala 60, which will be bankrolled by Boney Kapoor. The film will be directed by H Vinoth and this project was scheduled to take off earlier. However, the shooting process was delayed due to unknown reasons. Galatta media has reported that the project was named Valimai and it will go on floors from December 13, 2019.
The female lead is yet to be revealed. It is being said that the film will hit the big screens in April 2020. Meanwhile, Ajith started the year 2019 with the family drama Viswasam, which was directed by Siruthai Siva. Even as the movie had a mega clashwith Rajinikanth’s Petta, it did not fail at the box office. Viswasam had Nayanthara in the lead role and the movie was received well by the audience. Following this, Ajith collaborated with Boney Kapoor for the Tamil remake of Hindi movie Pink titled as Nerkonda Paarvai. It was directed by H Vinoth of Theeran and Sathuranga Vettai fame.
Coming back to Valimai, though an official announcement on the female lead is yet to be made, it is being speculated that lady superstar Nayanthara might be roped in for the movie to play the lead lady. While she was enjoying her vacation with her boyfriend Vignesh Shivan, she met with Boney Kapoor and photos of the meeting went viral on social media. Speculations are that the Bigil actor could be seen romancing Ajith in Valimai.
