As Haasan completed 60 years in Indian Cinema, the celebs gathered to celebrate the moment. It was a grand night attended by many celebrities from the Tamil film industry. Moreover, anything, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth sharing the same stage grabbed the attention.

At the event, Rajinikanth shared about his long and strong friendship with Kamal Haasan. He also spoke about how Haasan has gone through struggles in life that no one might have. Adding to this, Haasan said, "Everyone should reflect our friendship. Love is the only truth and we will remain it's identity. We don't know what future holds. Yesterday and today has given us a beautiful friendship. Our acting styles have been different and so our ideologies too will be different. We have protected our friendship for 44 years we would continue to do so in future as well."
