Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy leaked online within a day; Tamilrockers at it again
Within a day of its release, the infamous Tamilrockers leaked the latest Telugu release Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Read details below.
One of the big budget films to be made this year along with an ensemble cast that has rarely been seen before is Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The film which generated a huge buzz hit theatres on October 2. However, like many other Bollywood and South films, Sye Raa also fell prey to online piracy. Within a day of its release, the infamous Tamilrockers leaked the latest Telugu release Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The film which has a superstar ensemble cast like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Tamil stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, and Kannada actor Sudeep was one of the most anticipated films down South.
Tamilrockers seemed to have leaked the HD print of Sye Raa making it even more worrisome for the film's makers. They fear that this leak may affect the box office numbers of the film after it released on a national holiday. The historical drama has opulent sets and grand-scale action which can fully be experienced on the big screen.
Despite a ban by the Madras High Court, the piracy website continues to operate with little to no fear. While it earlier used to leak only movies down South, in recent times it has also leaked highly-anticipated Hindi films like Saaho, Mission Mangal and Batla House among many others. Sye Raa has been helmed by Surender Reddy and it has been bankrolled by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan.
