Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of the year and the box office collections are the proof of the same. On the very first day, the movie raked in good numbers. And now, the movie has entered the second week and has maintained a stronghold at the ticket windows. As per reports, the movie has collected more than one crore in three areas on day 8. The Chiranjeevi starrer has garnered Rs 2.48 crore in Nizam, Rs 1.16 crore in Ceded and Rs 1.08 crore in Uttrandhra among others. The total collection of the movie as per AP/TS region is rupees 5.91 crore on its eighth day. After eight days of its theatrical run, the movie has collected Rs 26.5 crore share in Nizam and Rs 16.1 crore share in Ceded. Speaking of Sye Raa, the same is directed by Surender Reddy and is based on the life of Telugu freedom fighter called Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The movie is bankrolled by Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan under Konidela Productions. Aside from Chiranjeevi, the movie also stars Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ravi Kishan and Nayanthara in the significant roles. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has played a cameo role in Chiranjeevi's guru in the film.The movie has been made on the budget of Rs 200 crore.
