Suresh Gopi seeks actor Mohanlal’s blessings before the elections; Read On
Suresh Gopi who is the NDA candidate in Thrissur visited actor Mohanlal’s residence to seek his blessings before the elections. Suresh Gopi also admitted that their relationship goes long back and he used to stay in Mohanlal’s room during the shooting of his film.
NDA candidate Suresh Gopi recently visited actor Mohanlal’s residence in Kochi. The duo also addressed the media. Suresh Gopi revealed that he had come to Mohanlal’s residence to see his blessings prior to the elections. It is well known that Suresh Gopi and Mohanlal share a very strong bond which goes long back. Suresh Gopi revealed that he used to stay in Mohanlal’s room while he used to shoot for his films. Suresh Gopi also remembered the days when Mohanlal and his wife, Suchithra visited his house quite a few times.
Suresh Gopi revealed on the occasion saying, “This is a phase of silent campaign. But I'm outside my constituency and hence made this visit. As we maintain a warm relationship, Lal’s blessing is e ssential for me especially when I’m at an important point in life.” Suresh Gopi termed the presence of Mammootty in the poll campaign of Innocent, the LDF candidate in Chalakudy as a different matter. Suresh Gopi further said, “There is no politics in this meeting and this is purely a family matter. Lal’s mother had cooked me food of my choice many times. I wanted her blessings also. So, I met her too.”
Mohanlal too was all praises for Suresh Gopi. He called him a close friend and prayed that all good should happen to him in life. Mohanlal also revealed that he is a voter of the Thiruvananthapuram constituency but however he remained tight lipped about his political preference. When Mohanlal was further quipped about his directorial venture, he said that it is very much taking place but he will reveal more details regarding it after the elections are over. Mohanlal will reportedly make his directorial venture with the 3D film "Barroz - Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure.
