Superstar Rajinikanth CONFIRMS to attend PM Narendra Modi's swearing in ceremony
It is yet not confirmed if Kamal Haasan whose political party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) has made its debut during the Lok Sabha Election will participate in the event. On the other hand, reportedly, Rajinikanth has confirmed he will attend PM Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) witnessed a huge win on May 23rd and congratulatory messages were all over on social media. Prime Minister Narendra Modi rode to victory with a huge margin in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Soon, Twitter was filled with congratulatory messages for the winning party. South Indian actors like Rajinikanth, R Madhavan, AR Rahman, Tamil star Vishal, Nagarjuna Akkineni, actor Siddharth, and Soundarya Rajinikanth and many others took to Twitter to wish PM Narendra Modi over BJP's huge win.
On May 30th, Modi will take oath for the second time after completion of his 5-year tenure. Top actors of Tamil cinema, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have been invited for the swearing-in ceremony. While it is yet not confirmed if Kamal Haasan whose political party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) had made its electoral debut this Lok Sabha Elections would participate the event, reportedly, Rajinikanth has confirmed to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen next in Darbar. The makers of Darbar recently wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Mumbai. Joining Rajinikanth was actress Nayanthara and Yogi Babu. The makers will kick-start the second schedule from May 29th. The film will star superstar in the role of a cop. Rajinikanth will be essaying the role of a cop after almost 25 years, having last played a cop in the film Pandiyan (1992). Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar to play the antagonist’s son in the film. Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer and music is given by Anirudh Ravichander.
