Popular Carnatic singer Sudha Raghunathan is currently on cloud nine as her daughter Maalavika is all set to get married to her fiance, Michael. However, some of the religious groups are miffed about the marriage because of Maalavika going to tie the knot with a Christian guy. Since the past few days, the wedding invitation card has been doing rounds on social media. However, there are a few others who are upset about the criticism faced by Sudha's daughter for marrying Michael and have questioned regarding what mistake she has done by deciding to get married to a guy belonging to another religion. 

Moreover, some naysayers had also spread rumours that the Carnatic singer has converted to Christianity. According to some other reports, a few activists of the Rashtriya Sanathana Sewa have also spoken to Sudha Raghunathan about the entire issue and have let her know about their concerns. These reports about a few people objecting to Maalavika getting married to the man of her choice has definitey created serious concerns among some conscious individuals.

Sudha Raghunathan is considered to be one of the most popular Carnatic singers who mostly performs at numerous Carnatic music concerts. 

It is true that the easy access to the internet has allowed the individuals to provide their opinions openly on social media.
