South Newsmakers of the week: Vishal and Anisha call off their wedding to Sye Raa teaser & Bigil; check it out

Tamil star Vishal and Anisha have reportedly called off their wedding and the news has spread like wildfire. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay’s fans are quite upset with another song from his upcoming film Bigil leaked online. Vijay’s Bigil plagiarism case: Director Atlee Kumar’s film Bigil starring Vijay in the lead ran into troubled waters over allegations of plagiarism after KP Selva (some reports say Shiva) had filed a complaint with the South Indian Film Writers' Association. Selva sought for restraining the shoot of Bigil for taking away his story for a feature film and developing it into a full-fledged feature film. The case was taken to the court and now with the latest update, Chennai City Civil Court has dismissed Bigil Plagiarism case filed by KP Selva.

Anushka Shetty as Rani Lakshmibai: Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is undoubtedly one of the biggest projects of the year. The makers of the film recently launched the first teaser and it has set high expectations among the audience. The period drama also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Kichha Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia, Niharika Konidela, Brahmaji and others in crucial roles. Meanwhile, Baahubali star Anushka Shetty will be seen in a crucial role and it has been revealed that she will play Rani Lakshmibai. 

Bigil’s 'Verithanam' song leaked: The second song from Vijay starrer Bigil titled 'Verithanam' made its way to social media. A few days back, a song titled ‘Singapenney’ from the movie was leaked online and now another song, ‘Verithanam’ got leaked. Thalapathy Vijay himself features on the vocals of the leaked version of the song and makers of the film are quite disappointed on the same.

Ajith's Viswasam becomes No 1 Twitter trend: Ajith’s Viswasam grabs number 1 spot by becoming trending hashtag in the first half of 2019 followed by Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Cricket World Cup 2019, Mahesh Babu's Maharshi and New Profile Pic. Vishal's fiancé Anisha Alla Reddy calls off their wedding?: Actors Vishal and Anisha Alla Reddy have reportedly called off their wedding. The rumours are rife that their wedding has been called off and it has spread like wildfire. While a lot is being written on social media about their wedding called off, neither Vishal or Anisha have reacted to these rumours. Also, Anisha has deleted all the pictures of her engagement with Vishal from the Instagram account.
