We are once again back with our weekend edition of ‘South Newsmakers’ of the week and clearly, it was a week full of entertainment. From Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil trailer to the first glimpse of Venky Mama, it was one of the biggest weeks in South Indian Film industry. This week was one happy meal for the moviegoers. Bigil trailer: With just a couple of weeks left for the film's release, the makers of Bigil have released the trailer and its outstanding. The trailer has a lot of action sequences and shows Vijay in various versions - as a young football coach and an older man. Bigil trailer sends out a strong message as it is dedicated to all women. The trailer also shows the wedding scene of Vijay and Nayanthara. The best and surprising part of the trailer is the end when Vijay counts 'Ek dho theen' till 10 in Hindi.

96 wrap up: The Telugu remake of Tamil flick 96 starring Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand in the lead roles, is one of the much-awaited films. South beauty Samantha Akkineni took to Instagram and announced about the film’s wrap up with a beautiful picture. Check it out below.

Thalaivar 168: Rajinikanth, who is currently shooting for AR Murugadoss’ Darbar, has now been roped in for director Siva’s next directorial. Tentatively titled as Thalaivar 168, the movie will mark Rajinikanth’s first project with the Vivegam director. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is looking forward to the mega release of Darbar on Pongal 2020.

Pawan Kalyan to make a comeback in films: Pawan Kalyan recently announced about his brother Pawan Kalyan's comeback into cinema and stated that he wants his son Ram Charan to produce the film. However, Pawan Kalyan is yet to react on his comeback. 

Venky Mama first glimpse: Daggubati Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya’s whistle worthy act sets high expectations. . The teaser gives a glimpse that the film is going to give pure desi vibes.

Rang De: Keerthy Suresh and Nithiin starrer goes on floors on the auspicious day of Dussehra. Rang De is being bankrolled by Naga Vamsi under the banner Sithara Entertainments. Devi Sri Prasad will be setting the music score while cinematographer PC Sreeram will crank the camera.
