With cinema halls back in action, this week in the South, not one or two but more than 5 films are clashing at the box office
Cinema halls, multiplexes and theatres are back in action! The audience has returned to the big screen after a long one year and is enjoying every bit of theoretical experience but this time with more safety and social distancing. Cinema halls are back to life and filmmakers are super elated about the same. The cinema owners are strictly adhering to guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP) that are issued by the government. Meanwhile, the makers and actors have geared up for the grand releases of their films that were put on hold for a year now.
This week in the South, not one or two but more than 5 films are clashing at the box office. Kajal Aggarwal and Vishnu Manchu's Mosagallu to Pavan Tej Konidela's Telugu film Ee Kathalo Paathralu Kalpitam, here's a look at movies releasing this week, on March 19.
Telugu:
1. Mosagallu (March 19):
The crime thriller Mosagallu is directed by Jeffrey Gee Chin and it stars Vishnu Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal and Suniel Shetty in the main lead. It is the biggest Telugu release of the week.
2. Sashi (March 19):
The upcoming film romantic drama film is written and directed by Srinivas Naidu Nadikatla and jointly produced by R. P. Verma, Chavali Ramanjaneyulu and Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao under the banner of Sri Hanuman Movie Makers. The film stars Aadi Saikumar, Surbhi, Raashi Singh, Rajiv Kanakala and Ajay.
3. Ee Kathalo Paathralu Kalpitam (March 19):
Megganna Kumar and Pavan Tej Konidela's Telugu film Ee Kathalo Paathralu Kalpitam is directed by Abhiram and is releasing this week.
4. Chaavu Kaburu Challaga (March 19):
Kartikeya and Lavanya Tripathi’s new film Chaavu Kaburu Challaga (CKC) is directed by debutant Koushik Pegallapati. The upcoming Telugu film also stars Murali Sharma, Aamani, and Srikanth Iyengar in other pivotal roles. This is Lavanya's second release in March after A1 Express.
5. Gamanam (March 19):
The most anticipated multilingual movie Gamanam is releasing in theatres on March 19th, 2021. Directed by Sujana Rao, the Telugu film stars Shriya Saran, Nitya Menen, Shiva Kandukuri, Priyanka Jawalkar, Suhas, Charuhasan, Priya, Indu Anand, Sanjay Swaroop, Bithiri Sathi, Nehant, Ravi Prakash, Raju and others.
Kannada:
1. Munduvareda Adhyaya (March 19):
Actor Aditya is returning to the big screen after a very long time with Kannada film titled, Munduvareda Adhyaya. The film has been directed by Balu Chandrashekar.
Other Kannada films that are releasing this week are Mugil Pete, Ninna Sanihake and Thirumala Wine Store.
Malayalam:
1. Mohan Kumar Fans (March 19):
Malayalam film Mohan Kumar Fans starring Kunchacko Boban is releasing this week on March 19. Directed by Jis Joy of Sunday Holiday fame, the film also stars Siddique, Mukesh, Anarkali Nazar, Krishna Sankar, Sreenivasan, Vinay Forrt and Saiju Kurup in important roles.
