South actress Harshika Poonacha's father passes away

Kannada actress Harshika Poonacha's father passed away today. According to reports, the final rites will be held today at Kumathodu, near Virajpet. Harshika's father Udapanda Poonacha had recently gone under Gastrointestinal tract surgery.  Well, its the most unfortunate day for the actress and her family. Recently, Harshika Poonacha had shared a few pictures with her father from their holiday in Dubai. The actress captioned one of the pictures as, "Cherish your moments Life is unpredictable." 

Harshika Poonacha is the only daughter to her parents. The model turned actor was also a part of Bigg Boss Kannada season 4. Harshika Poonacha had hit the headlines earlier this year after two people allegedly misbehaved with her at an engagement party. Harshika also lodged a complaint against the two. Harshika Poonacha mainly appears in Kannada films and also in Konkani, Kodava, Telugu and Malayalam films. She rose to fame with Kannada film PUC that released in 2008.
