Singer Sunitha gets candid about her wedding with Ram; Says he took seven years to propose to her
During an interview, Sunitha said that Ram popped the question only after she asked him if he was going to stay single forever.
Tollywood’s popular singer Sunitha, tied the knot with digital entrepreneur Rama Krishna Veerapaneni last month in a private affair. During an interview with anchor Suma, she got candid and share some details about their love story on Valentine’s Day. Sunitha said Ram’s proposal came out all of a sudden and he said that he had been wanting to convey his feelings for her for about seven years. She also added that the engagement ceremony was impromptu.
“During the lockdown, Ram once called me regarding my professional work. While making a conversation, I asked Ram if he was going to be single all his life or if he has any plans to get married in the future. Ram immediately replied saying that he wants to marry me. He said that he has been trying to convey his feelings for her for the past seven years. My family has immediately okay-ed for the wedding and they were all very happy for me.”
Sharing the news of her engagement with Ram, Sunitha had earlier penned an emotional note. “Like every mother, I dream of settling my children down well. At the same time, I am blessed with wonderful and thoughtful children and parents who always want to see me well settled in life.... the moment has finally come... Ram has entered my life as a caring friend and a wonderful partner... we both are delighted to enter into wedlock very soon. Thanks to all my well-wishers who understand that I keep my life very private. Please support and be with me as you always do”, she wrote.
