Singer Soundarya Nandakumar on working with Thalapathy Vijay: It feels surreal to star alongside him

Vijay's latest Tamil film, Bigil which released on October 25th has set box office record as the film has entered Rs 300 crore club. While the audience is enjoying Bigil, Vijay has started prepping up for his next called, Thalapathy 64. Thalapathy 64 starring Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan is one of the much-anticipated films and has been grabbing attention since its inception. Fans can't wait to know what's in stores for them as Vijay has collaborated with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the first time. Meanwhile, singer Soundarya Nandakumar, who is also a part of Thalapathy 64 has revealed something interesting about actor Vijay.
The playback singer recently shared about her experience working with Thalapathy Vijay. While she didn't reveal much about the film, Soundarya also revealed that every character is important in the film. Talking to TOI, she said, "They had approached me after seeing my portions in Yours Shamefully. I should thank Vignesh Karthick (director of the short) for that!."
She further added, "The script is such that almost all the characters have prominence. It’s too overwhelming to stand beside Thalapathy and act. It feels surreal to star alongside him."

Thalapathy 64 is being bankrolled by Britto under his banner XB Creators and will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. The shooting of the film commenced in Delhi and reportedly, Vijay will play the role of a lecturer.
