Simbu and Gautham Karthik face MAJOR struggles on the sets of upcoming Tamil film

Simbu and Gautham Karthik are coming together for the first time for an untitled Tamil movie. The movie is the official Tamil remake of Kannada movie titled Mufti. The movie is currently being shot in Karnataka.

A few days ago, it was revealed that Simbu and Gautham Karthik are coming together for an untitled Tamil movie. The two stars will feature in the official remake of Kannada movie titled Mufti. The movie is directed by Narthan. The filmmaker is also making his Tamil film debut with this movie. While the title hasn't been locked in, the movie has commenced filming and actor Karthik recently revealed that the cast and crew are shooting through difficult weather conditions. 

The shoot is reportedly taking place in Karnataka and the actors are fighting through tough conditions. Gautham took to Twitter to share a picture of himself with Simbu on the sets of the movie. He said that the cast and crew are battling heat, rain and dust clouds but that hasn't stopped them from filming. 

He tweeted, "No matter, heavy winds, scorching heat, pouring rain or dust clouds, all of which we faced today. We keep on moving forward, always forward. Under the direction of #Narthan sir, the Show goes on!". Check out the picture below:

As for the movie, the original movie starred Shiva Rajkumar, Sriimurali and Shanvi Srivastava in the lead. The high-octane action drama was a hit in Kannada. The Tamil version sees Simbu play a gangster whereas Gautham will be seen as a cop. The remake also sees Vasishta N Simha, Devaraj, Chaya Singh, Sadhu Kokila, Prakash Belawadi, and Chikkanna. The movie is produced by Studio Green.
