Soon, celebrities started sending out congratulatory messages on social media and among many is Southern and Bollywood beauty Shruti Haasan. Shruti Haasan shared a throwback photo of her with veteran actress Dimple Kapadia and wrote, "So so happy for my favourite dimple mam who’s going to be in Christopher Nolan’s next !! Yesterday, bagging Christopher Nolan's next, Dimple Kapadia’s daughter Twinkle Khanna shared a special message on her social media account. The post reads: “And on a personal note - Congratulations Mother! So so proud of you ! You are truly amazing and you set an example for all of us that age is not an obstacle in the path of ability and talent #Hurrah.”

On the work front, Shruti is returning to films after two years. The actress was recently in London for a music gig. Before heading to London, the actress kick-started shooting for her next with Vijay Sethupathi. Titled as Madurai, the film is being directed by Tamil director SP Jananathan. Apart from SP Jananathan's film, Shruti Haasan has simultaneously started shooting for a Bollywood film with Mahesh Manjrekar opposite Vidyut Jammwal.
