Shruti Haasan has had her share of ups and downs, but nothing could stop the stunner from giving her best. Shruti has completed 10 years today in the film industry and is beyond stoked about it.

Bollywood and Southern beauty Shruti Haasan made her acting debut as a child artist in her father Kamal Haasan's directorial Hey Ram (2000), before making her full-fledged acting debut in the 2009 Bollywood film, Luck. She went on to do lead roles in Telugu and Tamil films. The actress has been spreading her talent wings down South and even in Bollywood. Shruti did has had her share of ups and downs in career but nothing could stop her from giving her best. With one Hollywood show in the kitty, Shruti Haasan has completed 10 years in the film industry. 

The stunner took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt note about her long decade career.  She wrote, "Today I've completed ten years as an actor in the movie business. There's so much I have learnt and so much I'm thankful for. I promise I will work harder and do better and make everyone who's supported be proud." Currently, Shruti is shooting for a Tamil film Laabam opposite Vijay Sethupathi. The Southern-Bollywood beauty will soon kick-start shooting of her Hollywood project. Kamal Haasan's daughter is currently in the best phase of her career as the actress has signed her first American project, ABC Network’s Treadstone. 

In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Shruti shared about having the happiest phase of her life, replied, "I'm the happiest I've been. You know a lot of people, like when I had decided to take a break, to honestly speak about, were thinking that why is she doing this but I made the best decision, I think. I prioritize my happiness first. Its like smelling perfumes. If you smell too many of them and if you don't take a break, you won't know what smells like what. Life is like that it keeps going on until you don't step away and take a minute to breathe....you can't decide how you want to go about with all things."
