Meanwhile, Shruti is currently in the best phase of her career as the actress has signed her first American project, ABC Network’s Treadstone.
The show will see Shruti play Nira Patel, a young woman whose job as a waitress in Delhi is cover for her double life as a trained assassin. The Southern-Bollywood beauty will soon kick-start shooting of her Hollywood project. Shruti also has a Tamil film with Vijay Sethupathi. Having finished one schedule, the makers of the film will soon begin with the new schedule. Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan was recently in the news over her break up with longtime boyfriend, Michael Corsale. Last month, Shruti Haasan parted ways with her beau Michael Corsale; however, nothing has affected her professional life.
In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Shruti described living the happiest phase of her career. When asked if she is having the happiest phase of her life, Shruti Haasan replied, "I'm the happiest I've been. You know a lot of people, like when I had decided to take a break, to honestly speak about, were thinking that why is she doing this but I made the best decision, I think. I prioritize my happiness first. Its like smelling perfumes. If you smell too many of them and if you don't take a break, you won't know what smells like what. Life is like that it keeps going on until you don't step away and take a minute to breathe....you can't decide how you want to go about with all things."
