Shriya Saran to star opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in K S Ravikumar’s next?
While Nandamuri Balakrishna has been locked for the male lead, the makers are planning to rope in Shriya Saran in the female lead for upcoming film, Ruler.
Bollywood and Southern beauty Shriya Saran is currently in the news for her upcoming project. According to reports, the actress will be pairing up once again with the superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna in K.S. Ravikumar’s upcoming film. K.S. Ravikumar who is known for hit films like Nattamai, Natpukkaga, Padayappa, Dasavathaaram, Lingaa, is planning to bring Shriya and Nandamuri Balakrishna together on the big screen. The director has now started working on his next project titled, Ruler. While Nandamuri Balakrishna has been locked for the male lead, the makers are planning to rope in Shriya Saran in the female lead.
However, no official announcement on the same has been made yet. The two have already shared screen-space in the past for films Chennakesava Reddy, Gautamiputra Satakarni and Paisa Vasool. Cinema Express quoted a source saying, "Over the years, Shriya has built a great rapport with Balayya. He liked her work in Gautamiputra Satakarni and believes that only she could have done justice to that role. So, Balayya recommended her name to Ravikumar even before the director started shortlisting names for the part."
Shriya Saran was last seen in Balakrishna's NTR Kathanayakudu. The actress made a small appearance in the film. The gorgeous has has two films in the kitty- Tamil film Naragasooran being directed by Karthick Naren with Arvind Swami in the lead and Hindi film Tadka.
Over the years, Shriya has shared the screen with Rajinikanth, Vijay, Balakrishna, Prabhas, Dhanush, Jr NTR.
