In an interview the film Sanga Thamizhan's director Vijay Chandar has said that the film will help the lead actor Vijay Sethupathi scale new heights of stardom. The director further adds that the film will see makkal selvan Vijay Sethupathi's character battling some serious political issues in the action drama. The film called got delayed after the cast and crew of the finished shooting for the film. Now, the film will see Vijay Sethupathi fighting it out on a political front.
The Vijay Sethupathi starrer will also star actors like Nivetha Pethuraj, Raashi Khanna, Soori and Nassar in key roles. The film will have music direction by composers Vivek-Mervin.
