Tamil actor Rajkiran, was previously seen in Vishal starrer Sandakozhi 2 which was directed by Lingusamy. The actor is all set to make his debut in Malayalam films with the Mammootty starrer Shylock. This film will be directed by Ajai Vasudev. This film is expected to be a mega entertainer as superstar Mammootty will be playing the lead in this film. The music direction of this film is given by Gopi Sunder. The music director had previously worked for films like Thozha and Bangalore Naatkal.
Actor Rajkiran, who made his acting debut in 1989 did not feature in films of any other language. The actor had produced two films, wrote stories for three films and directed two films before joining the star cast of Mammootty starrer Shylock. This film is the third time when the director Ajai Vasudev and the megastar have come together. The duo has done films like Rajadhiraja in 2014 and Masterpiece in 2017.
The film, Shylock has Meena teaming up with Mammootty after a very long time. As per reports, this film is expected to be made in Malayalam and Tamil. An official announcement with this regard is yet to be made. Rajkiran and Meena were seen together in En Rasavin Manassile. Shylock has Renadive doing the cinematography. The superstar Mammootty expressed his joy over actor Rajkiran accepting a role in this film. The megastar further adds that Rajkiran is very particular with his film choices and this film will have the actor essaying a very strong role.
