Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared a heartfelt birthday wish for filmmaker Karan Johar on his 50th birthday. The Yashoda actress dropped a dapper picture of Karan in a stylish red ensemble and wrote on Instagram, "Happy birthday to the one and only @karanjohar. Wishing you a phenomenal birthday."
Many other celebs also wished the filmmaker on his special day. Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Farah Khan, Apoorva Mehta, and Seema Kiran Sajdeh were spotted arriving at the filmmaker's residence recently.

Meanwhile, just like Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna, and others, Samantha has also expanded her fanbase by doing projects in Bollywood. Pinkvilla was the first to report that the actress is working with Varun Dhawan in Russo Brothers’ Citadel. Helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the film will mark Samantha’s second venture with Raj and DK. They had earlier joined hands for the Hindi web series, The Family Man 2. It is believed that the first schedule of Citadel will go on the floors from July this year.
In the meantime, Samantha has concluded the first schedule of Kushi in Kashmir. The upcoming romantic drama will have Liger star Vijay Deverakonda as the protagonist. This Shiva Nirvana's directorial will also star Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya in main roles.
The audience will get to witness Kushi in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on 23 December. Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the music for this much-anticipated drama.
Furthermore, Samantha's lineup for 2022 also includes Gunasekhar's mythological drama, Shaakuntalam, and the new age thriller Yashoda. She is also making her way to Hollywood with the film, Arrangements of Love. She is said to play a strong-minded woman, who runs her own detective agency in her debut venture.
