Samantha Akkineni who was last seen in Oh! Baby was spotted by the paparazzi at the Hyderabad airport today. She was seen wearing an off-white hued Indian ethnic suit and teamed the same with juttis, sling bag and black sunglasses. She kept her tresses loose. On the work front, the actress has already started the shooting for Tamil remake of 96. The Majili actress will play Trisha’s role in Telugu remake. Aside from her, the movie also stars Sharwanand in the lead role. For the unversed, the original starred Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha, 96 is one of the most successful romantic blockbusters of Kollywood. She was also seen in the Nagarjuna starrer Manmadhudu 2.

Some reports suggest that the actress has been approached for Amazon Prime web series. Apparently, the series is women-centric and Samantha has liked the content. And post Oh! Baby, she wanted to take a break from movies and that's why she has decided to sign the series. Reports also suggest that the actress has been offered a huge sum for the project and it will be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Nothing official is out yet.

Speaking of her last movie, Oh! Baby's Tamil dubbed version was released on August 15 along with Jayam Ravi’s Comali and Sasikumar’s sports drama Kennedy Club. The makers took to Twitter to announce the release dates of the Tamil and Malayalam versions.
