Samantha Akkineni’s Super Deluxe latest promo is even more mysterious than the trailer; Watch Video
Written and directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Super Deluxe will release on March 29, 2019. The film has a huge star cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni and Ramya Krishnan.
After amusing the fans with an unusual trailer, a new promo of the film was released recently and it has increased the excitement for the film even more. Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Akkineni, Super Deluxe is one of the most anticipated film of the year and the psychedelic trailer has already left fans wanting for more of it. Recently, the makers released a brand new promo of the film and it is even more amusing and psychedelic than the trailer was. Titled as 'Ding Dong promo', it gives glimpses of the characters of the film in an unconventional way. The aesthetics of sound which are largely used in the promo are associated with the style director Thiagarajan Kumararaja follows for his work.
In this promo, Fahadh is swearing and Samantha is whispering in a loop, while we get glimpses of Vijay Sethupathi’s character, Shilpa, uttering the phrase 'ding dong'. At the end of the promo, we see Ramya Krishnan do a dramatic hair flip and turn. Similar to the trailer, the promo also leaves a lot to anticipate about the film and as it puzzles the fans more with unusual use of frames and sounds. Ramya Krishnan is playing the role of a porn star in the film, while Vijay Sethupathi will play the role of a trans person called Shilpa. Speaking about his role in a recent interview, Sethupathi said that Shilpa's story is about her return to her house after many years. Now, it could be about how she is received by her parents and acquaintances, but with Thiagarajan, you never know.
