On the work front, last seen in Oh Baby, Samantha Akkineni has wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming film, Janu. The film stars Sharwanand in the male lead. Janu is the Telugu remake of Tamil super-hit venture, 96 which starred Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. Earlier, talking about the film, Sam said, “Another special film and a role that has challenged me to be better than I was yesterday .. blessed to work with a team that manages to create magic everyday.”
