Samantha Akkineni rekindles Chennai memories as she spends time with her old friends between shoots
Samantha Akkineni was born and brought up in Pallavaram, Chennai and has spent half of her life there before getting married to Naga Chaitanya.
South beauty Samantha Akkineni is Chennai for the shooting of Vignesh Shivan's upcoming Telugu-Tamil film, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal. The stunner along with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi is shooting for the film since a couple of weeks. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are busy with the International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFFR) as their film Koozhangal has been selected for the screening. The couple is busy with the same and amidst this, Samantha Akkineni has also taken a break and is enjoying her time in Chennai.
As we all know, Sam was born and brought up in Pallavaram, Chennai and has spent half of her life there before getting married to Naga Chaitanya. Since she is back to her favourite place, Samantha Akkineni is rekindling Chennai memories as she is spending time with her old friends on coffee and lunch dates. The Oh Baby actress shared a couple of photos on Instagram and clearly enjoying going down the memory lane yet again.

Talking about Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, the film is a romantic-comedy and will see Nayanthara and Samantha sharing the screen space for the first time. The film started rolling last month and moviegoers are super excited to see this stunning and talented cast together on the sets. The music of the film is being scored by music director Anirudh Ravichander, and it is bankrolled by Vignesh's Rowdy Pictures in association and Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio.
