Samantha Akkineni: Oh Baby will be a milestone film in my career

The gorgeous Samantha Akkineni recently released the first teaser of her upcoming musical-drama Oh Baby. Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, the film is an official remake of South Korean comedy Miss Granny (2014). The teaser of the film opened to a positive response and fans are eagerly waiting to experience something different on the big screen. Meanwhile, the makers of Oh Baby hosted a grand pre-release event today in Hyderabad. Sam made a stunning appearance in a blue co-ords paired with Gucci belt. Southern beauty is a style inspiration. 

During the launch press meet today, Samantha Akkineni expressed how Oh Baby is going to be a special film. She said, "Rangasthalam and Majili have proved my decisions are on the mark. I always wanted to complete entertainer before retiring from films. #OhBaby has filled the gap and it will be a milestone film in my career."  Oh Baby is going to be a roller coaster ride with the lead actress in two avatars. 

It revolves around a woman who is around 70 years of age, however, she magically finds herself in the body of a younger girl in her 20s, played by Samantha Akkineni.

Oh Baby's cast comprises of Naga Shaurya, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Urvashi, Pragati and Teja among others in supporting roles. Music by Mickey J Meyer, Oh Baby is all to release on July 5.
