Samantha Akkineni is mighty impressed by Malcolm & Marie; Says it was breathtaking and mesmerizing
Samantha Akkineni shared a poster of John David Washington and Zendaya starrer Malcolm & Marie and expressed how impressed she was with the film.
South star Samantha Akkineni took to her Instagram space and expressed how impressed she was with the recently released Hollywood film Malcolm & Marie. Sharing a poster of the film on her Instagram stories, Samantha stated that that the film was breathtaking and she was totally mesmerized by it. She wrote, “What did I just witness? This has to be the most breath taking film. Mesmerizing”.
Malcolm & Marie is a black and white romantic drama, which got released this year. Written and directed by Sam Levinson, the film features John David Washington and Zendaya in the lead roles. They are also the producers of the film. The film revolves around a director and his girlfriend who question their relationship on the night of the premiere of the director’s latest film. The film was released on the OTT platform Netflix, on February 5, and in a jiffy, it became the most watched film on the video streaming platform.
Meanwhile, Samantha Akkineni is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film titled Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film has Vijay Sethupathi as the male lead, while Nayanthara will be seen as yet another leading lady. Other than this, Samantha also has a magnum opus, titled Shaakuntalam. The film will narrate the story of Shakuntala, daughter of the sage Vishwamitra and Menaka. Earlier last year, it was announced that Samantha will be collaborating with Game Over director Ashwin Saravanan. Updates about this film are expected to be made soon.
