Samantha Akkineni to do PV Sindhu biopic? Find out
Reports are doing rounds that Samantha Akkineni might play Badminton ace PV Sindhu on the big screen. However, no official word regarding the same is out.
Samantha Akkineni is one of the most popular actresses down South and is known for playing strong on-screen roles. The stunner has always left the audience amazed with her films like Super Deluxe, Majili and Oh! Baby. The South beauty has now kick-started shooting for 96 remake, which originally starred Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi. Meanwhile, reports are doing rounds that Sam might play Badminton ace PV Sindhu on the big screen. However, no official word regarding the same is out. Definitely, the biopic is currently in the works and will be bankrolled by Sonu Sood.
Sam is said to star in a film based on the life of PV Sindhu and it will be bankrolled by actor Sonu Sood. However, according to the latest reports, Samantha is not doing the film. The actress was never approached for the film in the first place, reports a Telugu website. Meanwhile, Samantha is enjoying her holiday in Ibiza, Spain. The actress headed to Spain with hubby Naga Chaitanya and other family members to celebrate Nagarjuna Akkineni's 60th birthday. She has flooded her Instagram with some wonderful pictures from her exotic holiday that will leave you green with envy.
Recently, PV Sindhu was asked who she thinks is best to play her on-screen, to this she named Deepika Padukone. HT quoted the gold medal Badminton winner, “Would definitely want Deepika Padukone to play the character. She had played the game and is a good actor too. But then the makers would take the final decision and I trust their decision."
