On Mahashivratri several actors and actresses have poured in their wishes on social media sharing how they are celebrating the festivities. Samantha Akkineni headed to Sadhguru’s yoga centre in Coimbatore to participate in the celebrations of the auspicious occasion with her friends and fellow stars Rakul Preet Singh, Lakshmi Manchu and Shilpa Reddy. Taking to her Instagram handle, the popular diva posed with the stars in front of Lord Shiva’s idol. Donned in beautiful Indian attires, the ladies smiled for the picture.
In the photos, Samantha can be seen rocking a Mehendi coloured kurta with a pink dupatta. Rakul could be seen wearing a beige kurta with an intricate design on it, pairing it with a matching bindi. Shilpa wore a blue-gold saree, while Lakshmi pulled off a green coloured kurta. Captioning the picture with a simple praying emoji, Samantha and her friends seemed thrilled to be attending the event at the venue. Fans of the icons seemed fascinated in the comments section as they poured in a stream of red heart emojis and sent in their festive wishes.

Meanwhile, On the work front, Samantha Akkineni is filming for the upcoming film Kaathu Vaakula Rendhu Kadhal with is backed by Vignesh Shivan and co-stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen in the much-awaited mythological-drama Shakuntalam. The stunner will also make an appearance in the second season of The Family Man co-starring Manoj Bajpayee. On the other hand, Rakul Preet Singh's forthcoming projects include Mayday, Thank God, Attack and an untitled film.
