As reported in TOI, Prabhas is now opting for profit share as a fair practice and a win-win situation even for his filmmakers. The report further added that the 39-year-old actor has decided to let go of his upfront fee in return for a percentage of the profits. A source close to these developments revealed that Prabhas realised that if he wanted to make Saaho feasible, he could not ask for his regular fee.
In such a scenario, he thought it would be better to take a share of the film's pre-release business after it has done well. As per reports, Prabhas takes home anything between 50-60 per cent of the profits, in addition to an upfront free.
In a first, Saaho will have an eight-minute action sequence that has cost the makers of this film a whopping amount of Rs 70 crore. This is the most expensive scene that has ever been shot in the history of Indian cinema. The film is expected to have some high intensity action scenes for which the makers of this film have roped in Hollywood's well-known action director Kenny Bates. He has films like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the Transformers to his credit.
